We are an Australian internet provider based in Canberra, selling nbn® plans to households across the country and IT services to businesses.
Peaknet is the trading name of Peak Net Pty Ltd. We are an nbn® accredited retail service provider, which means we buy wholesale access to the national network and sell it directly to you — the connection is the same nbn® network everyone else uses, and what differs is the price, the support and the terms.
We are a small company in Canberra. That shapes how we work: month-to-month plans with no lock-in contract and no early termination charge, no setup fee, and prices that are the same whether you are a new customer or have been with us for years.
Peaknet was founded in Canberra by members of Australia’s Nepali community, and we are proud of those roots. Migrant families know what it is to be sold a confusing contract in a second language, or to be quoted one price and charged another — and that experience is a large part of why we write our plans in plain English and put the real busy-period speeds next to every headline number.
That is who we are. It is not who we are for.
Peaknet serves every household in Australia where the nbn® is available — the same plans, the same prices, the same support, for everyone. We are glad to be part of a community, and equally glad to serve people from every community in the country.
Being an Australian telco means operating under rules that protect you, and we would rather point you at them than hope you never look.
